I'm an idiot.

You know how I know that I'm an idiot?

I keep checking my RSS feed for this blog expecting someting new even though I KNOW that I haven't written anything new.

My name is Leo and I'm a moron.

Working on editing Health Effects

I'm currently editing the health effects portion of the movie. Today I worked on reviewing and editing my James Allen interview. Jim talks about these pus filled blisters that he gets. They used to be so bad that at times he had to be hospitalized for them. To me this sounds like typical chloroacne.

Chloroacne is a skin condition that is normally associated with exposure to high levels of chlorinated aromatic compounds, such as dioxins and furans. In more pronounced cases, pus-containing spots erupt and spread across the the face, neck, shoulder and down to the rest of the body. In severe cases the spots from chloroacne leave scars and result in permanent disfigurement.

Jim also mentioned in our interview that when he was younger his brother and him would hunt to provide food their family. After the treatment plant was in operation for a few years, a lot of the rabbits that they hunted were also covered in pus filled blisters.

Large Owl for B-Roll

Today I was able to capture a large owl on film for my B-Roll. He was huge. I'm hoping that I can catch him again with my polarizing filter.
